Jitendra Kumar, who is back with his role as ‘Sachiv Ji’ in the popular show, Panchayat Season 3, addressed rumours of his fallout with the makers, The Viral Fever.
The makers of Panchayat recently released the much-anticipated third season of the show. It has been receiving love in the form of positive word of mouth from critics as well as viewers. However, before the show was released, there were reports about Jitendra Kumar, who plays the lead in the Panchayat series, having a fallout with the makers of the show, The Viral Fever (TVF), which started speculations whether the actor would return to the show. However, the actor has now spoken about the same.
In an interview with India Today, Jitendra Kumar, who has impressed the audiences with multiple versatile roles, revealed that when such news came out and he saw it all over social media, there was a lot of panic. He said, “The last season ended on Abhishek's transfer and that also spurred the buzz further. There was a misunderstanding, and honestly, main bhi pareshan ho jata tha (I would get troubled) answering the same questions.”
"At one point, I was like aur mat poochon, bandh karo yeh (don't ask about it, end it now),” the Jaadugar actor added.
Jitendra Kumar, who is seen reprising his role as Sachiv Ji in Panchayat Season 3 also added that as he had already started shooting for the third season of the show, the rumours did not affect him much. He said, "Given I have had a long association with TVF, people were worried about what went wrong. I understood it's their love and we just waited for the first trailer to end all speculations."
Set in the backdrop of the fictional village of Phulera, Panchayat received a lot of love for the first two seasons. After a long wait, the makers are finally back with Panchayat Season 3 and viewers are loving every bit of it. Apart from Jitendra Kumar, the show also stars Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Chandan Roy, Sanvikaa, Durgesh Kumar, Ashok Pathak, Faisal Malik, and Sunita Rajwar, among others.
