John Abraham will soon be seen in Attack that also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez. The film will release in theatres on April 1.
John Abraham, who has been a part of films with some exceptional music, recently opened up about the music and songs in his films. The actor, who has gained popularity over the years as an action hero, began with a lot of experimental films in Bollywood like Jism, Saaya, No Smoking, Water among others. The music of his initial few films had struck a chord with the audience back then. However, in the recent past, his films have compulsorily had a dance number, mostly featuring Nora Fatehi.
The actor who will be seen in Attack next got candid about his songs and said that he's been lucky to get some good songs accidentally while he's also got some bad songs. Speaking with Tried and Refused Productions, the actor said that music in some of his films has been great and revealed that the songs of Jism remain his absolute favourite. "Jism, for me, is still my most favourite album. I think I have accidentally got very nice songs. But I have also got extremely bad songs," he told the YouTube channel's host.
John further revealed that what pushes him down is when he's told that he has to have an item song in his film. He said that he doesn't want to sound condescending but it kills him when he's told to have an item song. For those who are unversed, almost all of John's recent releases like Satyamev Jayate 2, Rocky Handsome, Batla House and Satyamev Jayate have had dance numbers with Nora Fatehi.
On the work front, John will be seen as a super soldier in his next titled Attack. The film also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez and it's all set to hit the theatres on April 1. Post that, John will be back on the sets of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer Pathaan and complete the shoot of his portions. The film, which is being helmed by Sidharth Anand, is slated to hit the silver screens on January 25, 2023.
