Jim Sarbh is leaving no stone unturned to play scientist Homi Bhabha in his forthcoming show for Sony LIV titled Rocket Boys, that tells the story of India’s nuclear physicists, Homi Bhabha and Vikram Sarabhai and their journey towards greatness. The Made in Heaven actor will be a part of the show that'll explore the personal life and professional accomplishments of Homi Bhabha and re-establish his relevance to modern-day audiences.
The actor, sharing the news on his Instagram handle, had added, "Rami Malek got to play Freddie Mercury. I wasn’t about to let anyone else get to Homi Bhabha first. 😙 @ishwaksingh taking on Vikram Sarabhai. For the upcoming @sonylivindia show ‘Rocket Boys’. Directed by @pannuabhay". Helmed by Abhay Pannu, the show will have actor Ishwak Singh essay the role of Vikram Sarabhai.
"These guys, Vikram and Homi, were just so fascinating. Two young men with fantastical dreams for their country, who just kept at it, working and working, to bring their visions into reality, to make their country a scientific superpower. And all the while, through toil and trouble, they managed to have colourful exuberant lives, as well! I can't wait for the audience to watch it on SonyLIV," said Jim Sarbh in a statment released to the media.
