An old interview of the singer-song writer has resurfaced online in which the Canadian-Indian singer-song writer is seemingly slamming Bollywood
Canadian-Indian singer-song writer Jazzy B, who made a splash in the early 2000s with his catchy Punjabi songs, especially for the 2005 hit number Dil Lutiya, has suddenly found himself in the news.
After doing a slew of solo albums, Jazzy B worked in Bollywood films such as Shaheed Udham Singh, Rush, Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster Returns, Kesari and Jawaani Jaaneman.
Now, an old video interview of Jazzy B has surfaced online, in which Jazzy B, who has not done any work in Bollywood since 2020, is seen calling Bollywood "very unprofessional".
Speaking about the Hindi film industry, Jazzy B says,"The one thing I don't like about Bollywood is (that it is) very unprofessional."
He then goes on to give his reasons for agreeing to do the Dil Lutiya song for the 2020 Saif Ali Khan and Alaya F film Jawaani Jaaneman.
The singer said, "I did Dil Luteya because it’s the same team as TIPS, so I knew what they were gonna do. I am glad it was the same team. But I told them, if you want Jazzy B, I will produce (the song) for you and give it to you. I don't want a song, remake it and ruin the song."
Apart from his independent and Bollywood work, Jazzy B has also composed and sung songs for Punjabi films. He has even acted in the 2022 suspense thriller Punjabi film Snowman: The Dark Side of Canada, in which he played a cop. Neeru Bajwa, Rana Ranbir and Arshi Khatkar also star in the film.
