Directed by debutant Divyang Thakkar, the film also stars Shalini Pandey as the female lead and Boman Irani, Ratna Pathak Shah and Deeksha Joshi in supporting roles.
The Ranveer Singh starrer Jayeshbhai Jordaar is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. The film will have Singh play a never-seen-before avatar which has only amped up the excitement of the audience. As it is nearing its release, the makers have now shared a new poster for the film.
The new poster features Ranveer Singh in a dapper look but he looks rather surprised. Wearing a shirt with a shawl around his neck, he holds what looks like a hat of a policeman in one hand and a coconut wrapped in a red dupatta, indicating shagun for marriage in the other hand. Looks like he's being forced to choose between the two while his eyes pop out in despair.
The poster of the film, which celebrates 50 years of Yash Raj Films, was shared on social media by the production house. On their Instagram post, they wrote, "A hero who is unlike any - Jayeshbhai Jordaar is coming! Celebrate #JayeshbhaiJordaar with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you on 13th May."

The comedy-drama will reportedly have Ranveer Singh play the role of a Gujarati superhero. Jayeshbhai Jordaar is said to be a superhero film with some comedy-of-error situations, much like the Malayalam movie, Minnal Murali.
Directed by debutant Divyang Thakkar, the film features Shalini Pandey as its female lead along with Boman Irani, Ratna Pathak Shah and Deeksha Joshi in supporting roles. The film is said to make a statement on gender equality through a small-town businessman.
