The teaser of his maiden Hindi feature film, Mumbaikar dropped today

Courtesy, his effortless performance as Michael Vedanayagam, who is on a mission to crack down on counterfeit currency. And now the actor is gearing up for his first theatrical release as well. Mumbaikar
His first feature film in Hindi will be the remake of Lokesh Kanagaraj's Maanagaram. The teaser of the long-delayed film was released today and Vijay Sethupathi plays the character portrayed by Munishkanth in the original, who accidentally abducts the wrong child. The film, directed by Santosh Sivan, will have VSP sharing screen space with Vikrant Massey, Ranvir Shorey, Sanjay Mishra and Sachin Khedekar. Interestingly, after Maanagaram, Lokesh went on to direct Vijay Sethupathi in Master and Vikram.
Jawan
As Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan gears up to hit screens on September 7, expectations are skyrocketing on Vijay Sethupathi's character in the film. The actor is said to be playing an antagonist in Atlee's maiden Bollywood directorial, which also marks the debut of Nayanthara in Hindi. While VSP had called Shah Rukh Khan a humble, friendly and helpful actor, SRK called Vijay Sethupathi, a brilliant actor and that he got a lot from him.
Merry Christmas
This film, directed by Sriram Raghavan, will have Vijay Sethupathi teaming up with Katrina Kaif. The film is supposed to hit screens in Hindi and Tamil in 2023 and is bankrolled by Tips Films and Matchbox Pictures. The team had dropped a first-look poster which once saw the clinking of wine glasses. However, there haven't been many updates about the project after that announcement. The film is said to be a crime thriller set in a day when their world is turned upside down.
