Jawan is breaking records one after the other. It has already grossed over Rs 1000 crores at the box office and is going great guns even in its third week of release. Shah Rukh Khan is on an all-time high as he has given back-to-back hits with Pathaan and Jawaan. His next film, Dunki will also be released on December 22, 2023, and his fans are eagerly awaiting the trailer.

On the other hand, Jawan director, Atlee is on cloud nine as he has given his career's biggest hit. Getting a chance to direct a Shah Rukh Khan film is huge and delivering a massive blockbuster is just icing on the cake.

Atlee has spent close to three years on this project and deserves all the applause he is getting from all over the world. The manner in which he has showcased SRK in a never-before-seen manner has also won a lot of hearts.

Well, the news that has caught on all over is how much did Atlee get to direct Jawan in the first place. Shah Rukh Khan himself produced this film and we have come to know that Atlee has been paid a whopping Rs 30 crores as his fee. This is the highest ever that Atlee has charged in his career.

So far, he used to charge somewhere around Rs 15 to 18 crores per film in Tamil but with Jawan, he has doubled it. Jawan is Atlee's fifth film and he says that his next film will not be an action drama but will cater to a lot of kids. This statement of his has kept us all guessing in the first place as to what kind of film he will make.

Atlee is one of those filmmakers who has only worked with superstars in the past. We need to see whom he will rope for his upcoming film. For now, he is happily basking in the glory of Jawan.
