Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan is easily the most-anticipated film in the whole country this week. Trade analysts have already predicted the film to break several box office records on its opening on September 7 and also go on to garner a record collection, if the content meets the expectations of the audience.

Jawan, which is helmed by Tamil filmmaker Atlee and has Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Deepika Padukone, is also one of those rare movies that have managed to generate huge buzz across industries, simultaneously. That’s also why the movie could go on to set records even in States such as Kerala – where other language films such as Rajinikanth’s Jailer, Vijay’s Varisu, Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Vikram’s Ponniyin Selvan dominate the list of top 5 highest opening-day grossers.

Within its release date, September 7, still days away, fans of both Shah Rukh Khan as well as Thalapathy Vijay in the State are ensuring that the film beats Pathaan’s record for the highest Bollywood opening-day grosser in Kerala.
