The Shah Rukh Khan starrer film ‘Jawan’ was released just a few days back, but its collections at the box office are definitely outstanding and exceptional. With each passing day after its release, the film has not just been breaking records, but also making new ones. The present-day box-office collections of the film states that the film has entered the Rs. 400 crore club!

As a part of the film’s success celebration, the film’s makers had organised a meet at a Mumbai hotel, which was attended by Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Vijay Sethupathi, film’s director Atlee Kumar and others. The film’s leading lady Nayanthara could not make it as it was her mother’s birthday.

Besides being at his sassiest best, one could also see Shah Rukh Khan in a pensive mood. While he was on stage with the film’s main cast and director Atlee, Shah Rukh Khan said, I have not worked for a long time. I take everything with happiness and positivity. I too was very nervous to get back on a set after a gap of so many years… after a period of three years itself was very new. I was feeling very different. My elder son told me that, when growing up, what stardom in the air feels like because your films were big hits. The daughter said ‘I know it’. But, the little one (referring to his youngest son AbRam), knows you are a star, but has never seen and felt it in the air.”

The ‘Jawan’ superstar went on to add, “So, next five films, please work very hard. Make him feel it in the air. He will respect you; he will love you. I am not trying to show off. God has been very kind. We (pointing at Deepika Padukone) have had ‘Pathaan’, God has been even kinder with ‘Jawan’. I always say that we started off on January 26. It’s a good auspicious day. It's Republic Day. We released ‘Jawan’ on Janmashtami, the birthday of Lord Krishna. And now that the New Year is coming, we are bringing ‘Dunki’. I keep on doing national integration. As it is, whenever my film releases, it is always Eid!”.
