Jawan: Speculations galore over Vijay's cameo as Shah Rukh Khan's film does huge business in Tamil Nadu

The hype for Jawan is escalating as days pass by, thanks to various news doing the rounds. The movie helmed by Atlee will be released on September 7 in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. Shah Rukh Khan's previous outing Pathaan turned out to be a huge hit, and there is massive hype surrounding his forthcoming release.

Gokulam Gopalan, one of the leading producers in Kerala, has bagged the movie's distribution rights in the state along with Tamil Nadu. He had presented Rajinikanth's Jailer recently and has bought the rights to Vijay's upcoming project Leo as well.

Gopalan has earned huge profits with Jailer which is currently the highest Tamil grosser in Kerala. This confidence might have been the reason behind the veteran investing a never-before-heard sum to buy Jawan's rights in the two states.

This has left many wondering; a few opine that he has high confidence in the film's output while there are those who suggest that he is pinning hopes on Vijay's cameo which is considered a speculation for now. Atlee, who is making his Bollywood entry with the project, has made three movies with Vijay and shares a close bond with the Thalapathy of Tamil cinema.

A picture featuring SRK, Vijay and Atlee did the rounds on social media when the director posted it from his social media page. This has led to many coming up with the theory that Vijay may have played a cameo in Jawan.

Vijay shared the Tamil trailer of Pathaan earlier this year, and he is said to have done the same only for the relationship he shares with SRK. Jawan also has the likes of Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Yogi Babu in it. If the cameo speculation turns out to be true, there is no stopping the movie's juggernaut at the BO in the two states where Vijay enjoys a massive following.
