Shah Rukh Khan leads a team of badass women in Jawan!
There are several videos on the Internet featuring Shah Rukh Khan where the superstar has spoken about his respect for women and how he considers them far superior to men. This is one example we have seen extensively in Chak De! India where his character Kabir Khan coached the women's hockey team in the country and gave them wings so that they could soar high. Now, SRK is back at it with Jawan. In the Prevue, the star led a team of badass women to complete his mission.
The trailer for Jawan features Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, and Aaliyah Qureshi as his gang members, and it's a visual delight. We see these women blazing guns, planning and executing the mission in the sassiest way.

Well, it's indeed an encore, a Chak De! India moment we are set to see on the big screen after 16 long years.
In the 2007 film, with determination and a desire to prove himself, Kabir Khan (SRK) takes on the task of training a group of diverse, talented, and passionate women from different parts of the country. The team members initially struggle with their individual differences, personal rivalries, and societal expectations. Kabir faces numerous obstacles as he tries to unite the team and mould them into a cohesive unit.
Through rigorous training, motivation, and unwavering belief in their abilities, Kabir instills a sense of unity, discipline, and sportsmanship among the players. Together, they overcome personal and societal barriers, challenging stereotypes and prejudices.
