Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan is all that the internet seems to be talking about. Director Atlee’s film also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, and Sanya Malhotra in important roles, along with Deepika Padukone, Sanjay Dutt, and Sunil Grover who have cameo appearances in the film.

Before the world premiere of the film on September 7, Yash Raj Studio had oraganised a screening of the film, which was attended by Bollywood celebrities like Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, and Bhushan Kumar, along with the cast and crew of Jawan. Actress Aaliyah Qureshi has now posted pictures on her social media handle from the private screening.

Aaliyah, who is one of the ladies in Shah Rukh Khan’s gang in Jawan, posted pictures from inside the screening of the film that was held on September 6. She captioned the post, “Happy Jawan Day.”

In the first picture, Aaliyah is seen posing with Shah Rukh, who was wearing a black shirt and a black necklace. In this next picture, Deepika, who looked stunning in a floral print black ensemble, is seen giving Aaliyah a peck on the cheek.

In the next picture, she posed with the other ladies of the gang, such as Sanya Malhotra, Lehar Khan, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, and Girijia Godbole. In the fourth picture, she is seen with Atlee, the director of Jawan, who had opted for a casual look for the evening, wearing a red striped jacket and white T-shirt. Aaliyah herself looked uber-chic in a casual white top, beige pants, dewy makeup, and messy hair.

Netizens were quick to note the pictures and flooded the comment section with comments like, “Thanks for the pics. Best wishes to you mam and to whole girl squad.” While another wrote, “happy Jawan Day..Loved it!!!” Social media influencer Kareema Barry commented, “Madnessss.”

Aaliyah on her experience of working with Shah Rukh Khan

In a recent interview with Money Control, Aaliyah spoke about her experience of working on the film. She said, “It was brilliant. I feel lucky and overwhelmed at how much I got to learn from him (SRK). Not only is he magnetic on screen, but he’s also kind, humble, and funny that you can’t help but love him. They say never meet your heroes, but those who say that haven’t met SRK. My favourite memories are just sitting by the monitors with him between takes and asking him questions about acting, life and everything else and he would give the most profound and interesting answers. It was like a masterclass in acting.”

Jawan is the first collaboration of Shah Rukh Khan with Atlee. The Red Chilles Entertainment produced film has songs composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The film released worldwide on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
