On September 7, the movie Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, was released in theaters. King Khan plays double role of Azaad Rathore and Vikram in the film. Nayanthara plays a police officer, Vijay Sethupathi plays an antagonist, and Deepika Padukone plays the mother of SRK's Vikram. The film has been breaking a lot of box office records since its release.
The SRK starrer is all set to cross the 350 crore milestone at the box office In India today. The numbers are anticipated to increase over the next few days given the craziness and positive word around the film. According to Free Press Journal, Netflix has purchased the rights to Jawan for a staggering Rs 250 crore. According to reports, Jawan will be available on OTT between 40 and 65 days following the movie's release. The makers haven't yet made an official announcement about this, though.
About Jawan
Jawan is the first movie where Shah Rukh Khan collaborated with the South Indian director Atlee, and it is produced by Gauri Khan under their house label Red Chillies Entertainment. The film was released on September 7, 2023. Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, play the key parts with Vijay Sethupathi playing the antagonist. In the movie, which also stars Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Lehar Khan, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, and Ridhi Dogra in pivotal parts, Deepika Padukone makes a spectacular guest cameo.
