The superstar actress was interacting with the media at the success party of ‘Jawan’ which was held today in Mumbai
There must be hardly anyone who has not seen the Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Jawan’ so far. The film, ever since the word go, is definitely on a roll. With each passing day, the film is breaking one record after another record… only to create new ones. As per the industry tracker Sacnilk, yesterday (Thursday), which was the eighth day since the film’s release, the film had made an impressive net addition of Rs 19.50 crore in India alone. And, at the end of the first week of the film’s release, ‘Jawan’ is now expected to cross the Rs 400 crore gross mark today.

Question addresed to Deepika Padukone
As a part of the film’s success, the film’s makers had arranged for a media meet wherein the film’s leading stars interacted with the media personnel. In the said interaction, amongst the many questions which was asked to the film’s team, there was one particular question really stood out. It was asked by one of the media personnel to the ever-charming Deepika Padukone. The question which was asked to Deepika Padukone by the media personnel stated if there was any specific reason that she said yes to the film.

In her trademark style that is always combined with elegance and class, Deepika Padukone said, "Thanks for all the love. I really did this film for my love for Shah Rukh Khan and everyone knows the relationship that we share. And, I did anticipate for this to become so, so special. I am just proud and happy to be here and support the team".
As for the film, besides Shah Rukh Khan in the titular role, the film stars two of southern superstars in the form of Nayanthara (who played the leading lady) and Vijay Sethupathi, who was seen in an extremely important role in the film. Besides them, ‘Jawan’ also starred Deepika Padukone (in a cameo), Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Riddhi Dogra, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Girija Oak, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureishi in important roles.
