Archie Andrews, played by Agastya Nanda appears to have captured the hearts of the audience. Amitabh Bachchan's grandson, who also got a lot of compliments for his resembling looks as his mamu Abhishek Bachchan has become the talk of the town since his debut.

Nevertheless, Suhana Khan, Vedang Raina, Khushi Kapoor, Dot, and Mihir Ahuja also received praise for their roles after the movie was released on Netflix.

The Zoya Akhtar directorial is now praised by her father, writer-lyricist Javed Akhtar, who claimed that he could not give his own daughter Zoya Akhtar praise without risking her rebuke. However, he could give actor Agastya Nanda credit, characterizing him as the most promising new talent in the Hindi cinema industry since the late Rishi Kapoor.

Agastya, the grandson of Amitabh Bachchan, is a more "masoom" substitute for the "macho, toxic" heroes of today, according to Javed Akhtar in a recent interview. "Audiences have not seen a hero like Agastya since Rishi Kapoor in Bobby. Agastya will appeal to all youngsters, especially girls,” he said.

The Archies also stars Khushi Kapoor, the daughter of Sridevi, and Suhana Khan, the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan, in addition to Agastya, the grandson of Amitabh Bachchan. The film also stars Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Aditi Saigal, and Yuvraj Menda and was released on Netflix on December 7.

The makers of the film organized a grand premiere prior to the film's release which was graced by a number of celebrities, including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, and others.
