Rajinikanth's Jailer is dropping on Amazon Prime on September 7, after completing a mammoth run in theatres for a month. The blockbuster film helmed by Nelson set new benchmarks in terms of box office in several territories across the world.

The movie's HD print was leaked a few days ago, leaving many stunned. However, it still raked in the moolah from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Telugu states. Those who missed watching it in theatres are excited to see the action drama on the OTT platform in a few hours' time.
Vinayakan opens up on his character in Jailer
The Malayalam actor's villain role is one of the much-celebrated aspects of the movie. He played Varman, a ruthless goon whose ambition in life is to settle down as a filthy rich man after stealing a valuable crown. His scenes with Rajinikanth brought the house down.
His performance is expected to bring him laurels and more offers from Tamil movies. The talented actor has now opened up about his experience working for the movie, the reception he has been receiving and sharing screen space with Rajinikanth.
Vinayakan thanks Rajini, Nelson and Sun Pictures
The actor revealed that he was staying in the forest for a few days when he received the offer to play the role in Jailer. Vinayakan said that he couldn't say no because of Rajini and the production house Sun Pictures.

All praise for the Superstar's aura, he added that the character Varman is being celebrated because of the energy radiated by the former. He further said that he loved every sequence of his in the movie and that he had ample scope to portray his character.
