It looks like Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar's cameo in Rajinikanth's latest outing Jailer has become the talk of the town. The film, which marks the debut of the Kannada star in Tamil, has impressed fans so much that all eyes are now on his upcoming film, Captain Miller.

We hear that Shiva Rajkumar plays Dhanush's elder brother in the action entertainer and will be seen in an intense character. The teaser gave a sneak peek of the actor stylishly riding his horse in a battlefield. His look has already set the expectations high.

Captain Miller marks Shiva Rajkumar's second project in Tamil after the success of Jailer. The Arun Matheswaran film is set in the pre-independence era and Dhanush and his men are seen giving the British a run for their money. Dhanush is said to be playing a fugitive, whom the British forces are trying to get hold of.

The film is gearing up for a pan-India release and is likely to hit screens in multiple languages. The star cast includes Dhanush, Shiva Rajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, Priyanka Mohan, John Kokken, Elango Kumaravel and Nivedhitha Sathish. The film is bankrolled by Sathya Jyothi Productions.

As for Jailer, Shiva Rajkumar had a dominating presence in the film , albeit in a cameo. What's interesting is that he managed to stand tall despite the presence of other stars like Rajinikanth himself, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal and Bollywood star Jackie Shroff.  It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that after Jailer, Shivanna  has a legion of fans in Tamil Nadu.

Meanwhile, the Hattrick Hero had a special word of gratitude for the film's director Nelson Dilipkumar and added that it was a privilege to work with Superstar Rajinikanth. He took to his social media to thank the team for the opportunity. Fans are now hoping that he will be seen in more films in Tamil.
