The date and venue for the much-awaited audio launch of Superstar Rajinikanth's Jailer is finally here! The film's producers Sun Pictures, today, announced that the grand audio launch will be held on July 28 at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai. Taking to their social media handle, Sun Pictures, wrote, "Nadakkura Nada Puyalaacchey. The wait is over! Get ready for the star-studded Grand Audio Launch of #Jailer on July 28th at Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai. Alappara Kelapparom (sic)."

All eyes are on Rajinikanth's speech at the big event. It's been a while Rajinikanth gave his signature speech and fans are awaiting the big moment. Apart from Kannada Superstar Shiva Rajkumar, Mohanlal and Sunil are expected to speak on the big day. And that's not all. The buzz is that Tamanaah might perform live for the now trending Kaavaala song and that the film's composer Anirudh Ravichander, will be performing live as well.

In the meantime, the first single from the film, Kaavaalaa, has already crossed 50 million views and many have done their own cover for the hit number. The film is helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The shoot for Jailer was held across various locations across the country, Chennai, Cuddalore, Hyderabad, Mangalore, Bangalore, Kochi and Rajasthan.
Jailer has an ensemble star cast which includes Shiva Rajkumar, Mohanlal, Sunil, Jackie Shroff, Ramya Krishnan, Tamanaah, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, Redin Kingsley, Vinayakan, Jaffer Sadiq, to name a few. Cinematography is by Vijay Karthik Kannan and editing is by R Nirmal. Jailer is Rajinikanth's 169th film and is gearing up to hit screens on August 10. Rajinikanth will be playing jailer Muthuvel Pandian in the film.
Since Rajinikanth's previous venture, Annaththe directed by Siruthai Siva and Nelson Dilipkumar's Beast didn't rake in the moolah at the box office, a lot is riding on the Superstar's upcoming project.
