Jai Mahendran 2: What to expect from the sequel of Saiju Kurup's web series?

Another Malayalam web series, Jai Mahendran has made it to the digital space. Saiju Kurup plays the lead in this political satire, which is currently available to stream in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Marathi, and Bengali on Sony LIV. To the joy of movie buffs, the first season closes with the prospect of a sequel.

The web series' director, Srikanth Mohan, stated in an interview with OTTplay that the creators have submitted the script for Jai Mahendran's Season 2 to the platform and that there is a chance the project would get numerous seasons. What to expect from Jai Mahendran 2?

Mahendran, played by Saiju Kurup, is the main character of the show. He works for the revenue department and is skilled at scheming his way into positions of authority and influence within the bureaucracy.

By the end of the show, the chief minister of Kerala, played by Johny Antony, is shown telling another minister that he needs to identify the person responsible for the land scam rebellion. It is expected that they will eventually discover that Mahendran is the one responsible for this action and that they will either cause him more problems. The main dilemma of season 2 may once again be whether he can defeat the system or give in to the very powers he previously possessed.

By the end of the season, Mahendran also appears to be a changed person. Another question among viewers will be if he has truly changed for the better or not. The director also disclosed that the platform will eventually release more information.
