After much speculation about the leading lady in Chiranjeevi's upcoming film Bholaa Shankar, we finally have some official news from the team. Tamannaah Bhatia will be paired alongside the veteran actor for the second time in her career (their earlier collaboration was Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy) for the film. The film is the Telugu remake of Ajith, Shruti Haasan starrer Vedhalam and is being directed by Meher Ramesh. Tamannaah will be reprising the role that Shruti had played in the original. Keerthy Suresh has already been cast as Chiranjeevi's on-screen sister in Bholaa Shankar.

"Honored and ecstatic to be a part of the MEGA MASSIVE MOVIE #BholaaShankar. Can't wait to share the screen with @KChiruTweets sir once again! Bring it on @MeherRamesh Gaaru! @AnilSunkara1 @KeerthyOfficial @AKentsOfficial @BholaaShankar," tweeted Tamannaah, sharing her excitement about coming on board for the action entertainer. Bholaa Shankar will be formally launched November 11 at 7:45AM, while the principal shoot of the film is all set to commence from November 15. It's not known if Tamannaah will be a part of the first schedule of the filming.

Mani Sharma's son Mahati Swara Sagar is composing music for the film. Anil Sunkara of AK Entertainments is bankrolling the film, in collaboration with Creative Commercials. The team is planning to rope in several big names as part of its cast and crew and will officially announce the same shortly. Bholaa Shankar is expected to release theatres in 2022. Tamannaah, last seen in films like Seetimaarr and Maestro, will have her next theatrical release in February, 2022 with F3, where she co-stars Venkatesh, Varun Tej and Mehreen Pirzada. F3 is directed by Anil Ravipudi.
