It's official! Rashmika Mandanna to star in a cameo in Dulquer Salmaan's film with director Hanu Raghavapudi, first glimpse out

Dulquer Salmaan is getting ready to entertain Telugu audiences yet again after Mahanati. His second straight Telugu film, much to public knowledge, is with Andaala Rakshasi director Hanu Raghavapudi, where he is paired alongside Mrunal Thakur (in the role of Sita, the Jersey actress makes her Telugu debut). Ashwini Dutt and Priyanka Dutt are jointly producing the film under Swapna Cinema. Vyjayanthi Movies presents the film.

Commemorating Rashmika Mandanna's birthday today, the makers officially confirmed that the actress is part of the film and have launched her first look from the project. As per sources, she will appear in an extended cameo in the role of a Kashmiri Muslim girl Afreen. The first glimpse of Afreen has an intense Rashmika Mandanna walking in front of a burning car, wearing a red hijab while carrying a handbag. Vishal Chandrasekhar's spine-chilling background score contributes to the impact.

The yet to be titled film, currently being referred to as Production No 7 of Swapna Cinema, will simultaneously release in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages. The first look and glimpse of Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur's characters as Ram and Sita have generated immense curiosity among audiences already. With the addition of Rashmika Mandanna, there's every reason for a viewer to wait for the film with bated breath.

Interestingly, another actor Sumanth will also be appearing in a supporting role in the film. While Sumanth has confirmed the news, the makers haven't come up with any update about his character yet. PS Vinod is the cinematographer of the film, whose technical crew also includes production designer Sunil Babu, art director Vaishnavi Reddy, costume designer Sheetal Sharma and editor Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. The film, being made on a lavish scale, is nearing completion.
