It's a wrap for Varun Dhawan-Kriti Sanon starrer Bhediya, new poster out

Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon shot for Bhediya extensively in Arunachal Pradesh.

Varun Dhawan, earlier this year, announced his upcoming film Bhediya with which he will be venturing into supernatural space. After teasing the first look in February, the actor kickstarted the shoot in March in Arunachal Pradesh. Varun along with Kriti Sanon extensively shot the film in Ziro. In Bhediya the actor will be seen playing the role of a werewolf and now after two schedules, the shoot has been wrapped.

After filming in Arunachal Pradesh, the second schedule kick-started in Mumbai and on Saturday, the actor announced the film's wrap. Varun posted a video on his Instagram page which features Kriti and his silhouette standing on a cliff against a full moon.

The actor wrote, "It's a film wrap for team #Bhediya! What an extraordinary journey this has been working with some amazing people and teaming up with Dino after Badlapur and super talented @amarkaushik. @kritisanon u ma boo and @nowitsabhi will miss our chats in the van before every scene love u @paalinkabak surprise package thank u. Releasing in theatres on 14th April 2022."

Bhediya is directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films. The film also stars Abhishek Banerjee in a supporting role.

Varun and Kriti reunited after nearly seven years. The actors first worked together in Rohit Shetty's Dilwale released in 2015.

Bhediya is the third film in the supernatural-horror genre for Dinesh after Stree and Roohi. While Varun reunited with Vijan for the second time after Badlapur.

On the other hand, Dinesh's upcoming production Mimi starring Kriti in the titular role is set to be a JioCinema and Netflix release.
