Actor Srinagar Kitty is making his comeback as a lead after a long gap. The actor will soon be seen in an intriguing avatar in Gowli an action drama directed by Soora, and the latest word about the film is that the team has successfully wrapped up the shoot. Srinagar Kitty took to social media to make this key announcement.

"Happy to announce that we had successfully completed the GOWLI shoot. Very soon trailer will be released," wrote the Garuda actor.

The teaser of the film which was released a few months ago attracted a lot of positive responses with Kitty's rugged look, in particular, becoming a topic of discussion. The actor carries his quintessential brood and a serious look in the film but there's an element of menace about him which is rather striking and to enhance these qualities, Srinagar Kitty sports long hair and a bushy beard.

As seen in the teaser, he will be involved in many intense action sequences with the film's emotional backdrop justifying it all.

The lead cast of the film also includes Paavana Gowda who plays Srinagar Kitty's wife in the film. Paavana is currently busy with an array of projects and will be seen in films like Mysore Diaries, Rudri, Fighter, and many others.

Rangayana Raghu, Yash Shetty, Cockroach Sudhi (of Tagaru fame), Sharath Lohithashwa, and others form the rest of the principal cast.

Soora, who makes his directorial debut, also writes the screenplay of the film with Raghu Singham producing it. The team is said to have shot the film entirely in Malenadu region - the other core technicians are Shashank Sheshagiri for music, Sandeep Valluri for cinematography, and Umesh RB for editing.

On the other hand, Srinagar Kitty will be playing the antagonist in the Vinnod Prabhakar starrer Maadeva and a key role in Veeram alongside Prajwal Devaraj and Rachita Ram.
