The actor is currently in Vizag, where he is shooting for the AP Arjun directorial for a month-long schedule.
It’s Dhruva Sarja’s birthday today, but the actor is spending it far away from home, on the set of his next, Martin, in Vishakhapatnam. In a video that he realized a couple of days ago, Dhruva had spoken about not being in the right mental frame to celebrate his birthday, the actor is still coming to terms with the loss of his brother, Chiranjeevi Sarja, who succumbed to a heart attack just over a year ag), apart from the fact that we are still in the middle of a pandemic. The actor, who refers to his fans as VIPs, reiterated that he would not be in Bengaluru for his birthday and that instead of a celebration, they should shower him with their blessings, as they have always done.
Along with the video, the actor posted, “While the entire world is dealing with chaos of Covid-19, we are trying our best to keep up the pace. To honour all the beautiful souls we have loved and lost, I would not be celebrating my birthday this year too. I will be busy with my shoot in Vizag for a month. Trying to bring back smile on your faces, need all your blessings to make this movie (MARTIN) a successful one.”
Martin is Dhruva’s second collaboration with director AP Arjun, after the actor’s debut Addhuri, which has raised expectations among fans. Produced by Uday K Mehta, the film, which was launched in August, has already completed one schedule, and is being made as a pan-Indian project in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. Once he’s done with Martin, Dhruva is expected to start his next immediately. In fact, the actor has a couple of projects lined up, including with actor-director Prem and Jaggu Dada maker Raghavendra Hegde.
