More than achieving success in the film industry, it’s hard to sustain the good form continuously over a period of time. That is indeed the biggest test for Allari Naresh, who struck form with the courtroom drama Naandhi last year. He has been in no hurry to choose his next after Naandhi and took nearly a year to announce his next, Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam. AR Mohan is making his directorial debut with the film produced by Hasya Movies in collaboration with Zee Studios. Razesh Danda bankrolls the film and Balaji Gutta co-produces it. Anandhi, who made a mark in Tamil cinema and was recently seen in Sudheer Babu’s Sridevi Soda Center, is cast as the female lead.

The first look of Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam was launched yesterday. Allari Naresh in a partially unkempt look is seen holding the legs of a cot in the poster that leaves you curious about the plot. It looks like Naresh is carrying someone on the bed and marching forward, sporting an intense look. This is exactly what a first look is expected to do - tell something, pique one’s curiosity and yet not reveal too much. The film’s shoot which progressed earlier this year is progressing at an impressive pace. The makers announced that more details about the movie would be shared with audiences shortly.

Vennela Kishore, Praveen and others too play crucial roles in this hopefully gripping rural drama. Noted writer Abburi Ravi pens the dialogues for this saga while Sricharan Pakala is on board as the composer. Ram Reddy cranks the camera for the same and Chota K Prasad is the editor. Prudhvi is on board for the action sequences. Zee Studios had earlier associated with Telugu films like Bangarraju, Solo Brathuke So Better and Republic in the recent past. Meanwhile, Allari Naresh’s Naandhi was in the news recently for winning top honours at the Dada Saheb International Film Fest.

Allari Naresh is in a perfect phase as an actor where he has nothing to lose and can afford to do films at his own pace while focusing on quality. Very few contemporaries of the actor have even barely completed 25 films in their careers while Naresh has wrapped up 50 films in no time. It’s good to play the waiting game and pick films like Naandhi, Itlu Maredumilli...
