Tamannaah's upcoming projects include Bole Chudiyan, Gurthunda Seethakalam, and an untitled Malayalam film, so on.
Tamannaah says she is beyond thrilled to be working on Diwali. She is prepared to make her Malayalam film debut after giving the Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi film industries her all.
Tamannaah, who is always busy, will have a hectic holiday season this Diwali; shooting for her untitled film (directed by Arun Gopy), which went on floors on Thursday. Bankrolled by Ajith Vinayaka Films, this one will have Arun Gopy collaborating with Dileep, again after the hit, Ramaleela.
Tamannaah was quoted saying, “I'll celebrate the festivities with the entire cast and crew on the set itself and I'm looking forward to it. I'm grateful for all the amazing work that has been coming my way.”
Also, she added, the love that the audiences and fans give her is what keeps her motivated all year round.
The project, which was written by Udayakrishna, is being promoted as a high-budget pan-Indian movie; to be shot in and around Gujarat, Mumbai, and Jharkhand. Leading performers from Hindi and South Indian languages are anticipated to appear in this, as a part of the supporting cast.
The technical crew include cinematographer Shajikumar, music director Sam CS of Vikram Vedha fame, and editor Vivek Harshan.
When asked how she would prepare for her Malayalam debut, Tamannaah responded that once she has a bound screenplay, she plans to hire a tutor.
“I'm going to sit with them and just listen to them read it aloud to get acclimated to the sounds. I've always done it that way. When I needed to hone my Haryanvi accent for Babli Bouncer, I did the same thing. That was challenging because the diction is very dissimilar to that of South Indian languages. But since my bhabhi (sister-in-law) is from Haryana, she'll be the first to hit me if I don't get it properly! I'm therefore more afraid of disappointing my own family than I am of an audience.”
Tamannaah, who has been working since she was 15, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, has more in store for her fans with the upcoming release of her romantic-drama flick Gurthundha Seethakalam, Bhola Shankar and Prime Video series Jee Karda.
Most of her career has been a lot of commercially successful films.
She was quoted as having stated in a Vogue interview that she is in that “phase of life” where she isn't competing with anyone but rather attempting to push the boundaries for herself. “I want to test my potential and the most natural way to do that would be to explore other industries, without being bound by geography.”
Tamannaah believes in the institution when asked if marriage was in the cards for her. “I will therefore surely get married when the time is perfect. I don't believe I've ever given in to peer pressure. I firmly believe that you attract the kind of mate you are when looking for one.”
