RC17 launch
A lot is being said about Ram Charan's new film with director Sukumar, which was announced by the production house Mythri Movie Makers. Initially, Ram Charan teamed up with Sukumar for Rangastahalam, which was a blockbuster hit.
It gave Ram Charan respect as an actor and now that he has teamed up yet again with Sukumar, the gossip in film circles is that this film might be a sequel to Rangasthalam. The climax of Rangasthalam had an open ending with the characters of Charan and Samantha walking away into their village.
Now, news has gone viral on social media that Sukumar is continuing the story and will make Rangasthalam 2 on an even bigger scale. Of course, all this is mere speculation and only the makers can confirm if it is true or not. But we may not have to wait too long, since the first-look poster for the film is slated to be released on March 27, which happens to be Ram Charan's birthday.

A source close to the director says that there is no truth in this news and only Sukumar has an idea, as he has not shared the basic storyline with his team yet. In many of his interviews, Sukumar had revealed that he has a plan and a basic line for Rangasthalam 2 and wants to make it at a later stage in his career.
This news has been lingering in the minds of Ram Charan fans, who have started circulating it even more. As of now, Sukumar is busy with the shooting of Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2, which is going on at a brisk pace in Hyderabad.
Pushpa 2 is the sequel to Pushpa and is set to release on August 15, 2024. As there is a chunk of the shooting left to be wrapped up, Sukumar is racing against time to wrap up the film. Only time will tell whether his film with Ram Charan is a sequel to Rangasthalam or not.
