Taking to Instagram, the makers of the horror film shared a poster image from the film, which features Soha and Nushrratt’s characters. The caption read, “Sakshi races to save her daughter from an evil cult led by Pradhan Ji, battling societal superstitions and horrifying realities.”

Speaking about her role in the film, Soha said in a press conference that she does not watch a lot of horror content so when the makers asked her if she wanted to be part of a horror film, it was a departure for her. The actress added that when she saw Chhorii, she loved it and felt that it made a huge impact on the audience as well. Hence, she wanted to be a part of Chhorii 2.
Soha also added that Chhorii 2 is bigger and better than its prequel, not just because of her, but because the horror and effects are better. She cannot wait to watch the film with others, except for her little daughter, Inaaya, of course, who cannot watch it.
Backed by T-Series, Crypt TV, and Abundantia Entertainment, Chhorii 2 is a women-led horror film, starring Soha Ali Khan and Nushrratt Bharuccha in lead roles. Helmed by Vishal Furia, the screenplay is written by Vishal himself along with Ajit Jagtap, while the dialogues are penned by Divya Prakash Dubey.
Speaking about the sequel, director Vishal Furia said, “I am thrilled to take the story of Chhorii to the next level with its sequel. I have always envisioned Chhorii to be a multiple-film franchise and am delighted that my producers are backing my vision. I am excited to bring back Nushrratt in the sequel and to begin a new journey with a powerhouse talent like Soha.”
