Chiranjeevi is headlining the Telugu remake of Mohanlal's Malayalam blockbuster film Lucifer directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran.
After Acharya Chiranjeevi has jumped on to his next project which is the Telugu remake of the hit Malayalam film Lucifer. The actor is playing the lead role originally played by Mohanlal in the Prithviraj Sukumaran directorial. Now as per the latest reports, one of the biggest Bollywood superstars is set to share the screen space with one of the biggest Telugu superstars. Yes, we are talking about Salman Khan who is reportedly set to be a part of the film tentatively titled Chiru153.
A KoiMoi report suggested that the Dabangg star has been roped in to play a pivotal role in the untitled film and the makers are planning to announce it most grandly. It is being said that Salman will play the role which Prithviraj donned in his own Malayalam directorial. For the uninitiated, he played the right hand of Mohanlal's Stephen Nedumpally aka Khureshi Ab'raam who spoke Hindi in the entire film.
This news will surely unite the fans of Salman and Chiranjeevi and they cannot expect anything less than a blast from their screen outing.
As per reports, Chiru153 is titled God Father and is being helmed by Mohan Raja. Along with Chiranjeevi, the film also features Nayanthara and Satyadev Kancharana in the lead roles.
The film was officially launched in January this year and the shoot has been happening on and off due to the coronavirus pandemic. A close-knit event was held in Hyderabad which only marked the presence of a few cast and crew members of the forthcoming film.

Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi also has Acharya in which he will be sharing the screen space with his son and actor Ram Charan. The film is directed by Koratala Siva and also features Kajal Aggarwal and Pooja Hegde as the female leads. The release date of the movie has been postponed due to the pandemic.
