Malaikottai Vaaliban is undoubtedly the most anticipated period drama film that fans are waiting for in 2024. The Mohanlal and Lijo Jose Pellissery film that is slated to be released in theatres on January 25 has an interesting new update. This was revealed by none other than Vaaliban, aka Mohanlal. In a now-viral video, the actor announced an issue of ‘Vaaliban Comix', which has been made for kids.

The comic book features Malaikottai Vaaliban as the central character, who is a superhero coming to the rescue of children facing challenges. The video, which has now gone viral on social media, has fans wondering if the film has a superhero theme. The comic book hints at this and this has now upped the excitement around the film.

Malaikottai Vaaliban's official trailer to be released on THIS date?

The eagerly anticipated trailer for the action period drama is expected to be out on January 18. Earlier, it was speculated that director Lijo Jose Pellissery was planning to release the trailer on January 15, on the festive eve of Pongal. However, sources close to the team suggest that the trailer is expected to drop on January 18. There is no official announcement, though.

Madhabhara Mizhiyoram, the 3rd single from Malaikottai Vaaliban to be out soon

Meanwhile, the third single from Madhabhara Mizhiyoram, will be out later today (January 12). The song is composed by Prashant Pillai. Besides Mohanlal, the movie also stars Sonalee Kulkarni, Andrea Ravera, Danish Sait, Hareesh Peradi, Manikandan R Achari, Katha Nandi, Rajeev Pillai and others.
