The actor, we hear, is finding it difficult to juggle films and politics

Udhayanidhi Stalin has been multi-tasking for quite some time now, juggling his time between films as a producer and actor, politics and family. But it looks like the actor-producer is finding it increasingly hard to manage everything, with his political responsibilities increasing by the day. If a recent interview is to go by, Udhayandhi might soon bid adieu to his acting career. In the interview, the actor is seen saying that Maamannan might be his last film as an actor
The actor, currently has three projects in his kitty- Nenjukku Needhi, Maamannan and an untitled film with Magizh Thirumeni. Nenjukku Needhi, directed by Arunraja Kamaraj, is a remake of the 2019 Hindi film, Article 15, a neo-noir crime drama, directed and produced by Anubhav Sinha. The Tamil remake features Udhayanidhi Stalin, Aari Arujunan, Tanya Ravichandran and Shivani Rajasekhar . The film is gearing up to hit screens on May 20. Music for the film is by Dhibu Ninan Thomas, cinematography is by Dinesh Krishnan and editing is by Ruben. This is the first time that Udhayanidhi Stalin is playing a cop in his acting career. The trailer of the film was released recently.
After Mari Selvaraj's directorial Karnan, it is said that Udhayanidhi had expressed his interest to work with him. Soon, Maamannan was finalised and Fahadh Faasil, Keerthy Suresh and Vadivelu were roped in for the main roles. Udhayanidhi had stated that the film has a political connection and had even dropped a hint that the film might generate controversies. The film will be produced by Udhayanidhi's production house. While Theni Eswar is handling the cinematography, Selva RK is handling the editing. Dhilip Subbarayan is in charge of the action choreography and, Sandy master, the dance choreography.
Udhayanidhi also has in his kitty, an untitled project with director Magizh Thirumeni. Eeswaran and Bhoomi fame actress Nidhhi Agerwal, will playing the leading lady in it.
