Karthi’s Vaa Vaathiyaar is directed by Nalan Kumarasamy and features a star-studded cast including Krithi Shetty, Rajkiran, and Sathyaraj
We had earlier reported that actor Karthi will be starring in the upcoming Tamil film titled Vaa Vaathiyaar directed by Nalan Kumarasamy, and produced by Studio Green. As per the latest buzz, the production house is planning to release the teaser of the film along with Kanguva which is set to release in theatres on November 14.
Vaa Vaathiyaar is Karthi's 26th project as lead actor. While rumours are rife that the actor will be making an appearance in his brother and actor's upcoming film Kanguva, the latest buzz includes that the teaser of Vaa Vaathiyar will be attached to Kanguva and will be played in theatres. With both the films backed by Studio Green production house, the chances are highly likely that the teaser will be played with Kanguva.
The teaser of Vaa Vaathiyaar will be about for one minute and 38 seconds. While a release date is yet to be announced, it is believed that the film will hit theatres for Pongal in January. Vaa Vathiyaar is helmed by filmmaker Nalan Kumarasamy, and also stars actors Krithi Shetty, Rajkiran, Sathyaraj, GM Kumar, and others.
The technical crew of the upcoming film includes Santhosh Narayanan, who scores the music, with George C Williams cranking the camera. Vetre Krishnan is the editor and DRK Kiran is the art director.

Kanguva, starring Suriya in the lead role, is gearing up for release on November 14. There are high speculations that Karthi will be making a cameo appearance towards the end of the film, leading to its sequel. However, the makers have not confirmed his presence so far.

The film is directed by Siruthai Siva, and has Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Yogi Babu, and others in prominent roles. Suriya will be starring in dual roles. Kanguva has music by Devi Sri Prasad.
