Is Kafas actor Mikail Gandhi going to be the next Akshay Kumar? | Exclusive

Young actor Mikail Gandhi, who is gaining momentum for his performance in the web series Kafas, started his career as a child artist, and even though acting has become a part of his lifestyle, he also shares one of his common interests with Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar.

Here is what he disclosed during an interaction with OTTplay:

Asked about his other interests apart from acting, Mikail told OTTplay, "I have other hobbies; I have an interest in athletics, trekking, sports, and fitness. I also have another hobby that I would love to pursue, which is cooking. Someday I want to start a restaurant."

As it sounds quite similar to Akshay Kumar, who is known for being a chef, a fitness enthusiast, and an actor, does he also want to follow in his footsteps?

"He is a legend who has his legacy, and I respect that. But why should I become the next Akshay Kumar? I would like to be Mikail Gandhi. I always believe in becoming the best version of myself instead of becoming someone else. He is living his life and establishing his style. I will become the best version of myself," the young actor wisely replied.

In the past, Mikail acted in Telugu films like Supreme, Hello, and Bharat Ane Nenu and also played the childhood of Sachin Tendulkar in the docu-drama Sachin: A Billion Dreams. He also acted in web series like Typewriter, Mentalhood, His Story, Mai: A Mother's Rage, Tanaav, and Dahaad in the recent past.
