If the buzz in the industry is to go by, Jacqueline Fernandez is being boycotted by Bollywood. Reports are that producers are refraining from signing Jacqueline for their upcoming projects after that actress got embroiled in an extortion case. If the rumours indeed turn out to be true, this could signal the end of Jacqueline's career in the industry.

A filmmaker, who had earlier worked with the Vikrant Rona actress, has stated on condition of anonymity that the actress is losing work in Bollywood at a rapid pace due to the Enforcement Directorate's multiple summons in the extortion case. He added that no one was signing her for their new films and thus, her career in Bollywood is likely to come to a standstill.

Another colleague of Jacqueline has stated that Jacqueline got involved in the case without even realising what she was getting into. “It’s really sad. She is a very nice girl," she stated but adding that she will not be meeting Jacqueline.

Jacqueline Fernandez got embroiled in the extortion case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar and since then, she has come under the radar of Enforcement Directorate (ED). The actress has been named an accomplice and one of the prime accused in the charge sheet filed by Enforcement Directorate in the case. An investigation is being held to trace the money trail.

Meanwhile, Jacqueline’s attorney has claimed that they have received no official communication from the ED about his client being named in the charge sheet and that they came to know about it through media reports.

Jacqueline's last release was Sudeep's Vikrant Rona, a 3D fantasy action thriller. The single, Gadang Rakkamma, written by Anup Bhandari and sung by Nakash Azmi and Sunidhi Chauhan, has gone on to become a chartbuster. The actress will be seen in Ram Setu next and the film is slated for Diwali release.
