As per the latest report, Pakistani actor Fawad Khan is set to make his comeback in Bollywood opposite Ridhi Dogra. They will feature in a romantic comedy film.

The wait is finally over! One of the most loved actors, Fawad Khan is ready to make his comeback in Bollywood as per a latest report. Earlier reports suggested that he will be making his comeback opposite Vaani Kapoor. However, the recent report mentioned that Fawad will be seen in a theatrical project along with Ridhi Dogra.

All about Fawad Khan's Bollywood comeback

Hindustan Times reported that Fawad Khan is set to make his comeback in the glitzy world of Bollywood and he will be seen opposite Ridhi Dogra.

A source informed the portal, “The two will be cast in a romcom drama; the supporting actors are yet to be cast,” informs a source, adding that the film is at a very nascent stage. “The paperwork was only recently completed, and the duo have been cast as romantic interests. The director’s name is still kept under wraps."

The source also revealed that the shooting of the untitled project is yet to begin as the two are busy with other schedules. “The shoot will begin by the end of this year. The makers plan to release the film by next year’s end or the beginning of 2026,” the source added.

The duo will not be shooting any scenes in India. All the shoot schedules have been planned abroad. The project will be shot in several locations including New York (US) and London (UK) as it matches the theme of their rom-com drama,” end

Fawad Khan reveals he's still in touch with Ranbir Kapoor

In an earlier interview with Pinkvilla, the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actor said that he is still in touch with his co-actor Ranbir Kapoor. He shared that he is in touch on and off and has maintained contact with the Kapoor family and has enjoyed a cordial connection with them thanks to their occasional phone conversations and chats. Even with Karan Johar and Shakun Batra, there is still a tremendous deal of respect and love.

Fawad Khan's The Legend of Maula Jatt gets released date in India

Fawad Khan’s highly anticipated film The Legend of Maula Jatt was released in Pakistan in the year 2022 but was delayed in India due to the ban of Pakistani artists. Taking to Instagram, Zee Zindagi announced that the film will be released in India on 2 October 2024, i.e. on the special occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
