The eagerly anticipated trailer for Dhruva Natchathiram has been released. Starring Chiyaan Vikram and helmed by Gautham Vasudev Menon (GVM), the trailer has been creating massive buzz and excitement among fans. Director GVM had announced earlier that the Vikram-starrer would be released in theatres on November 24.

The title 'Dhruva Natchathiram' translates to 'Pole Star', which perfectly encapsulates Vikram’s character, John, who is a determined and committed spy. Right from the release of its trailer, audiences have been intrigued by Vikram’s striking appearance and intense performance. As soon as the trailer was released, many expressed their excitement over it. Some even said that the film is on par with Hollywood ones for its engaging shots. The trailer has been well received by viewers for its high-octane action sequences.

Dhruva Natchathiram took 10 years to make

The film was first announced in 2013, but was shelved a few months later.The production of Dhruva Natchathiram began in 2016. However, the release of the film was postponed numerous times owing to production difficulties.

Apart from Vikram, the film has an ensemble cast that includes actors like Ritu Varma, Parthiban, Simran, and Radikaa Sarathkumar. The film is bankrolled by GVM’s home production, Ondraga Entertainment and Oru Oorile Oru Film House. The film’s cinematography is done by Manoj Paramahamsa, Jomon T John, Santhana Krishnan and Ravichandran, while the editing is done by Praveen Antony. The film has music composed by GVM’s all-time collaborator, Harris Jayaraj.

Meanwhile, Vikram, who was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s epic drama Ponniyin Selvan 2, is gearing up for his upcoming venture with Thangalaan, helmed by Kabali fame director Pa Ranjith.
