It has been a little over 8 hours since the prevue of Jawan dropped on YouTube today and since then, it has been spreading like wildfire on the internet. Starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role, the action movie features superstar Deepika Padukone in a special appearance.
Packed with adrenaline-pumping action sequences and punch dialogues, Jawan's prevue truly offers a visual and emotional treat for ardent movie lovers. In one of the scenes, Deepika Padukone can be seen wrestling with Shah Rukh Khan and later defeating him.
Witnessing this scene, one Twitter user commented, “Is Deepika playing a mother to SRK in Jawan? She previously portrayed a mother to Ranbir in Brahmastra. Her fans constantly referring to her as 'mother' seems like she took it seriously.”
Several other Twitter users emote the same feelings. This development continues to trend on social media. Since today morning, social media users have been busy digging into minute details of the prevue. Many of them believe that the movie will be declared a blockbuster at the box office.
Even popular filmmaker Karan Johar earlier in the day believed that Jawan is going to be a blockbuster in the near future. If this prediction is believed to be true, then this will be megastar Shah Rukh Khan’s second theatrical film to be a blockbuster after the success of Pathaan in 2023.
From Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and Priyamani doing pivotal roles to Deepika Padukone making a special appearance in the movie, Jawan features several talented names from South India. Not only this, but the movie also features Bollywood stars Sanya Malhotra and Ridhi Dogra in supporting roles.
Directed by Atlee and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, Jawan is slated to be released on September 7.
