My Hero Academia has been one of the most popular anime series from Japan. The show has been a huge hit on Netflix and much like Naruto, it has turned into a franchise.

A fan imagined BTS’ Jungkook singing for the anime and the makers raised the fan’s excitement 10-folds with their response.

The fan tagged My Hero Academia’s Twitter handle and asked, “So when are we getting Jungkook from BTS to sing the OST for the anime series?” Much to everybody’s surprise the makers did send a positive response to that. They shared, “When I get Jungkook from BTS' email.”

Take a look:

My Hero Academia is penned and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. It won 2019's Harvey Award for the Best Manga series.

Till April 2021, My Hero Academia sold over 50 million copies globally. The manga as well as the anime, have been loved by the viewers and critics alike.

Like most anime, the lead character of My Hero Academia, Izuku Midoriya, is blessed with superpowers. The series currently has 5 seasons and 13 episodes. It is streaming on Netflix in India and on Hulu elsewhere in Asia.

Jungkook, along with other BTS members, has been trending for his latest single titled Butter. This is the K-Pop group’s second global chartbuster after Dynamite.

Butter, in fact, has broken more records than Dynamite and thus, has entered the Guinness World Record for most viewed video on YouTube. It has even made it to the top 100 songs chart on Billboard.
