K-pop singer and former BigBang member G-Dragon was booked in an alleged drug case on Wednesday. Following the arrests and bookings of Lee Sun-Kyun and G-Dragon on drug-related charges, the names of BTS members are being drawn into the controversy.

According to News1 Naver News reported that the Incheon Police Agency in Seoul, South Korea, booked the singer without detention on charges of violating drug management laws. His name reportedly surfaced in connection with actor Lee Sun Kyun's drug scandal. However, it has now come to light that the world's biggest boy band, BTS, has been implicated in this situation.

Several media outlets reported that "BTS members are also regulars at the G establishment in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam, where Lee Sun-kyun and G-Dragon frequented."

In response to these reports, on October 26, the group's agency, Big Hit Music, stated, "BTS are completely unrelated to the rumours, and they're not true at all. We'll respond strongly to the reckless spread of rumours."

What is G establishment:

The venue is a membership club where the cost of drinks alone is reportedly around 10 million won. The police apprehended and booked Lee Sun-Kyun and G-Dragon after the establishment's manager, Mr A, made statements regarding drug use.

In the meantime, concerns arose that certain BTS members were frequent visitors to the establishment, leading fans to express their opposition to the situation.

BTS fans called ARMY underlined their commitment, stating, "We will take all possible legal measures, including criminal charges and civil claims for damages, without any leniency or tolerance for the spread of false information and defamation."

YG Entertainment on G-Dragon's drug allegations:

Responding to the news, YG Entertainment, which had been managing the artist for years, issued a brief comment on the matter. According to Xports News their official statement stated, "It is difficult to respond officially as he is not currently an artist under our company."

Lee Sun Kyun drug case:

Reportedly, the police are investigating eight individuals in the Lee Sun Kyun case. Previously, Seon Gyun Lee was arrested on charges related to marijuana and psychotropic drugs under the Narcotics Control Act. Subsequently, the police also apprehended the manager of the Gangnam entertainment venue where Lee Sun Kyun was known to frequent, identified as Mr. B.

This manager is accused of extorting 350 million won from Lee Sun Kyun by allegedly threatening the Parasite actor. In addition to these arrests, another employee of the entertainment venue, along with five other individuals, was taken into custody. This group reportedly includes a composer, an aspiring singer, and a member of a third-generation chaebol family.
