Oh My Kadavule director Ashwanth Marimuthu was said to do a project with Silambarasan, which did not materialise. The director has now clarified rumours about his new film with Pradeep Ranganathan
Director Ashwanth Mariuthu is all set to begin work on his next film, which will be headlined by Pradeep Ranganathan . The director had earlier approached Silambarasan for a movie, which the actor turned down. Now, fans speculate that the new film the director is set to do with Pradeep is the revamped version of the script that was earlier narrated to Simbu.
Refuting these rumours, the Oh My Kadavule director has said that although he had narrated a story to Silamabarasan, it was a completely different story and has nothing to do with the new project. “The script I had narrated for Silambarasan TR is different and the script we are working on for Pradeep Ranganathan is entirely different,” the director clarified.
Ashwanth added that he and Pradeep had been planning to work on a project for a long time, but it was only now that things had fallen into place. He also added that the title announcement of the film will be made on May 1, while the shoot for the film will commence in mid-May.
