Irugapatru release date: HERE's when the Vikram Prabhu and Shraddha Srinath film will hit screens

The film, directed by Yuvraaj Dhayalan, revolves around three couples and their marital problems

Vikram Prabhu and Shraddha Srinath's upcoming film, Irugapatru is all set to hit screens on October 6. The film is said to be a heartwarming drama, directed by Yuvraaj Dhayalan, which will appeal to audiences of all age groups. Irugapatru has been cleared with a U certificate.

Taking to his social media handle, the film's lead actor Vikram had shared on his social media handle, "Irugapatru from October 6th For all of U !! Witness the heartwarming cinematic journey for all ages, in theatres. #Irugapatru is now ‘U’niversal. #IrugapatruCensoredU #IrugapatrufromOct6 (sic)."

An impressive trailer
The trailer of the film was released recently by SJ Suryah, who called it interesting. His post read, "Irugapatru Official Trailer - Vikram Prabhu, Shraddha Srinath | Justin Interesting teaser congrats actor @iamVikramPrabhu sir and all the best @prabhu_sr and team sjs (sic)."

The trailer shows the marital relationships of three couples, Vikram Prabhu and Shraddha Srinath, Vidaarth and Abarnathi and Shri and Sania Iyappan. Shri and Sania face compatibility issues soon after their wedding with Sania's character asking for a divorce.

On the other hand, Vidhaarth constantly rebukes his wife's eating habits and weight and constantly reprimands her to lose weight. Meanwhile, Shraddha Srinath is a marriage counsellor. She and her husband Vikram Prabhu seem to have absolutely no fights between them, which they find very odd. The trailer alternates among the three couples. It looks like the film will provide some good laughs.

Technical crew
Justin Prabhakaran has composed the music for the film, while cinematography is by Gokul Benoy and editing is by JV Manikanda Balaji. Irugapatru is bankrolled by SR Prakash Babu, SR Prabu, P Gopinath, Thanga Prabaharan R under the banner of Potential Studios LLP.

Irugapatru will clash with Trisha's revenge drama, The Road and Vijay Antony's crime thriller Raththam on October 6.
