The official trailer of ‘Kaadhal’ Bharath’s upcoming romance drama Ippadiku Kadhal has been unveiled! Set to release on aha Tamil OTT platform, the upcoming film stars Bharath, Janani Iyer and Sonakshi in lead roles. The trailer begins with the introduction of all three protagonists where Bharath plays the love interest of the two leading ladies. The trailer also hints that the film is based on a love triangle between the three characters. Although the video appears vague in terms of the plot, the film promises to be an intriguing watch, narrating the story of Bharath and his tribulations in love and life.

Speaking of the film in a recent interview, director Bharath Mohan revealed that the film aimed to portray the different dynamics of Love. The director said that after his 2019 film Igloo, he wanted to ‘showcase romance in a different dynamic’. “I attempted to show what true love is in my first film, but with Ippadiku Kadhal, I have explored the concept of life after love,” the director revealed.

The upcoming film sheds light on depression and how two people move past it. According to reports, Bharath plays a Tamilian, while Sonakshi’s character hails from Kolkata. The film will showcase how complications arise when they come together as a couple.
From the sources, it can be presumed that the film is based on Bharath’s character having a past which later comes to Sonkashi’s attention. This re-evaluation of each other’s past creates rift between the couple. Janani’s character is believed to be Bharath’s first love interest.
Talking about actor Bharath, the director revealed that the Tamil actor has done a ‘phenomenal’ job at essaying his role. He also revealed that Bharath loved doing this film, calling it the ‘best film he has done till date’.

Besides the lead cast, the film will also feature Pandiarajan, Bagavathi Perumal, Gnanasambandan, and Niranjani in supporting roles. The camera for the film is cranked by Ballu, while music is scored by Arol Corelli. The editing is handled by Prasanna GK. Ippadiku Kadhal is bankrolled by Sabareesh Kumar under the banner of Meraki Entertainment.
The film is set to premiere on aha from February 9.
