Pat Cummins sold to Sun Risers Hyderabad

History has been created in the Indian Premier League as Australian captain Pat Cummins became the most expensive player ever in the IPL to date. Sun Risers Hyderabad won the bid and bagged Pat Cummins for Rs 20.50 crore.

The bidding war happened between Sun Risers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings and finally, the Hyderabad team bagged the World Cup 2023 winning captain for the highest-ever price.

Pat Cummins beat the previous price tag of Sam Curran, who was sold for Rs 18.50 crore. The IPL 2024 auction is taking place in Dubai's Coca-Cola complex and 10 teams are fighting it out to bid for players from different countries.
