Into the Wild with Bear Grylls trailer: Show is back with Ajay Devgn as guest, maza aane wala hai!

The show will release on the OTT platform and discovery channel this month in seven languages

New episode of Into the Wild with Bear Grylls will feature Ajay Devgn

The survivalist Bear Grylls is back with a new episode of the show Into the Wild with Bear Grylls. This time joining him on the show will be Bollywood 'Singham' Ajay Devgn.

The streaming platform released the trailer of the show today, announcing its premiere. Ajay Devgn is seen saying, 'Ye sherdilon ka manch hai' as he jumps into water, rows the boat and walks out of the wild with pride.

The two adventurists will embark on a journey in the Indian ocean, dominated by sharks and unfavourable weather conditions and then on its uninhabitated and desolate islands. The real-life adventure was not a child's play for the action hero Ajay Devgn. He issued a statement saying that his first adventure in the wild was not a child's play, however, it helped him get out of his comfort zone. "My father was an action director and in my career span of 30 years in the Indian industry, I have had the fortune to play several roles including some dangerous action ones. And, this was one of those times when I had to put those learnings to the test again. A special salute to Bear who has been inspiring millions to explore and develop a much-needed relationship with nature, and of course to keep me safe in the wild,” he said.

Into the Wild with Bear Grylls is one of the most acclaimed and loved series on Discovery. Bear, who is known worldwide as one of the most recognised faces of survival and outdoor adventure, called his experience with Ajay a privilege. "Desert islands are always tough to survive on and Ajay showed total commitment to do what we needed to get out in one piece. He was also incredibly honest, sharing so many insights into his life and career and I value that honesty so much," he said in a statement.

Earlier, Bear Grylls had hosted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and superstars Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar on his shows. Into The Wild with Bear Grylls is a new format inspired by his another show Man vs Wild, a wilderness survival television series. The first episode of the series featured Superstar Rajinikanth early last year who made his television debut with Bear Grylls. The episode was followed by another thrilling experience with the Khiladi Akshay Kumar himself. Apart from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bear Grylls has also hosted prominent celebrities in the past such as the former American President Barack Obama, Kate Winslet, Roger Federer and Julia Roberts. Into The Wild with Bear Grylls is produced for Discovery Communications India by The Natural Studios and Banijay Asia.

The show with guest Ajay Devgn will premiere on October 25, 8 pm on discovery and on October 22, 6 am IST on discovery+. The show will be available in seven languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bangla, Malayalam and Kannada.
