Intiti Ramayanam: Navya Swamy speaks about her difficult role and the response to the family drama

Intiti Ramayanam has Navya Swamy in a key role along with Rahul Ramakrishna

Intiti Ramayanam is a family drama that was released in theatres on the 9th of June 2023. Starring senior actor VK Naresh, Rahul Ramakrishna, and Navya Swamy in the lead roles, the film, presented by Sithara Entertainments, is set in the rural backdrop of Jammikunta town in interior Telangana.

The film is about a small robbery takes place in a family and how egos go flashing as the blame game starts falling on each other. Navya Swamy, the young actress played the female lead and her charcter is being appreciated. She plays Rahul Ramakrishna's love interest in the film.

Speaking in an interview, she says "When we watched the final copy, we felt that we might get a good response for this particular scene or that comedy episode. But contrary to our expectations, the reaction of the audiences is quite tremendous. It was more than what we had expected".

Being a non-native Telugu speaker, Navya Swamy admitted that she had to struggle to catch the diction of the Telangana dialect. "I would take the script along and practice it at home just to get familiar with the words. Since I had done my homework, I didn't feel any difficulty delivering my dialogues before the screen," she added.

The gold-theft incident is the base of the story and director Suresh says that he wanted to show how the characters change their colours according to the circumstances and bring out subtle emotions.

Aha has grabbed the OTT rights of the film which also had Rahul Ramakrishna in a lead role. His scenes with Naresh is one of the highlights of the film which is high on comedy and fails in the emotional department.
