The news of late singer Sidhu Moosewala’s parents, Sardar Balkaur Singh Sidhu and Charan Kaur, welcoming a baby boy has taken over the i nternet today. Taking to social media, Sidhu’s father shared a picture of the newborn along with a welcome cake, and Sidhu Moosewala’s photo in the background with ‘Legends Never Die’ written on it. He captioned the post, “With the blessings of millions of souls who love Shubdeep, the Almighty has put Shubh's younger brother in our bag. With the blessings of Waheguru, the family is healthy and thankful to all the well-wishers for their immense love.”

The family welcomed the baby boy, two years post the Punjabi rapper’s assassination. And the news brought much joy to celebs and netizens, alike, who joined in congratulating the family.

Celebs react to Balkaur Singh-Charan Kaur’s newborn news

Taking to Instagram, Big Boss 17 runner-up Abhishek Kumar wrote, “Dil khush ho gaya. Baba Mehar Karan. (My heart is happy. God bless everyone.”

Qismat fame writer-director Jagdeep Sidhu shared Balkaur Singh’s viral photo on his Instagram stories and added, “Chota Sidhu” (Little Sidhu). Later, he also shared a reel of the Moosewala Haveli on his Instagram stories.

Tagging Sidhu Moosewala and his father Balkaur Singh, actress Sonia Mann, who had collaborated with Sidhu in the song called Tochan, shared, “Very Happy to see Happiness in your House. Congratulations Uncle and Aunty 😊Sidhu Moose Wala is Back. ✌️❤️”

Film director Amardeep Singh Gill mentioned on Instagram, “Congratulations brother @sardarbalkaursidhu and all the family! Rise and Shine!”

Punjabi pop king Jazzy B shared in his congratulatory note, “Waheguru ji🙏🏽 Bahut Bahut Mubarka sari sidhu family nu tey sidhu dey fans nu🙏🏽”

Yet another congratulatory wish poured in from Sidhu Moosewala’s friend-cum-colleague Sunnu Malton who remarked, “God is Amazing!” sharing the newborn’s picture that has now gone viral.

Lyricist, composer, producer and Sidhu Moosewala’s former manager Bunty Bains also expressed his joy on the occasion and added on his Instagram stories, “Congratulations @sardarbalkaursidhu @charan_kaur5911, younger brother of @sidhu_moosewala”

Director Amberdeep Singh also congratulated the Moosewala family with the remark, "Waheguru bahot bahot Mubarak pariwar nu.. te samooh sansaar nu @sardarbalkuarsidhu.”

Twitter reacts to birth of Sidhu Moosewala’s younger brother

No sooner had Sardar Balkaur Singh announced his younger son’s birth on social media than netizens took to Twitter to express their delight.

One user wrote, “#SidhuMooseWala Bhagwan downfall toh dena magar comeback Sidhu moosewala jaisa dena.”

Another Twitter user wrote, “Today SidhuMooseWala is born again in the lap of the same parents. God, you gave support to old parents to live. #SidhuMooseWala #BalkaurSingh”. Another Sidhu Moosewala fan shared, “Siddhu moosewala 2.0 arrived today. Yes, legends never die!”

Sidhu Moosewala’s mother had IVF treatment

Sidhu Moosewala was the only child of his parents, Sardar Balkaur Singh, 60 and Charan Kaur, 58. According to reports, Sidhu’s mother underwent an IVF treatment.
