Inspector Avinash: Fire breaks out on the sets of Randeep Hooda and Urvashi Rautela's web series

Randeep Hooda and Urvashi Rautela have been shooting for their web series Inspector Avinash in a full swing now. As per the latest reports, a fire broke out in the sets of the show in Mumbai. The fire began as a result of short circuits on the sets caused by rain The crew was shooting a courtroom scene and panic ensued. However, no casualties were reported. The shoot is happening at Film City in the city.

Inspector Avinash features an ensemble cast including Mahesh Manjrekar, Rajneesh Duggal, Freddy Daruwala, Govind Namdev, Adhyayan Suman, Amit Sial, Priyanka Bose and Abhimanyu Singh.

In the show, Urvashi plays the onscreen wife of Randeep and while praising her, director Neeraj Pathak had told ETimes in an interview, "Urvashi is an incredibly dedicated, disciplined actress and not only towards her roles but with her daily lifestyle and health as well."

While prepping for the role, Rautela had revealed that she received a lot of help from Hooda. The actor also stated to IANS, "He’s such an incredible actor and such a powerful force of a human being, so all I could hope for was to learn from him. I was able to learn a lot from him because everything seemed to mirror and connect itself."

Meanwhile, Randeep was last seen Salman Khan and Disha Patani starrer Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai where he played the main antagonist. His upcoming films include Unfair & Lovely and Rat on a Highway.

Inspector Avinash marks his OTT debut and the show will stream on JioCinema.

Whereas Urvashi made her web debut with the film Virgin Bhanupriya released in 2020. The film opted for an OTT outing on ZEE5 owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
