Infected 2030 trailer: A glimpse into relationship struggles during pandemic

The trailer of Eros Now original film Infected 2030 offers a glimpse into the world during the pandemic. It talks about how the lives of a couple take a drastic turn after one of them gets infected.

The video focuses on Noyrika Bhateja’s character, who has been denied a hospital bed and is forced to quarantine in a room. Her condition is so bad that she cannot even see her partner, played by Chandan P Singh.

Infected 2030 trailer begins with an announcement that the pandemic in the year 2030 has led to the loss of 25 crore lives globally. This is followed by the pain of a couple living separately but under one roof, justifying the tagline, ‘When isolation becomes deadlier than virus’.

The scenes of Noyrika’s character, with her questions and the urge to leave her room, is impactful. In one sequence in the trailer, she breaks down and asks Manik (Chandan) to talk to her as she feels lonely. However, Manik is scared as his partner constantly feels the need to come out of the room.

The synopsis of the movie reads, “A story of love, struggle, survival and fear.”

The trailer is quite relatable, real and relevant and makes for an interesting watch, with users commenting, “Emotional” and, “RIP to those people who died in corona” on YouTube.

Directed by Chandan, the movie is slated for release on May 20, on Eros Now.
