Malayalam actor Indrajith Sukumaran is also part of Trisha Krishnan’s upcoming Telugu web series titled Brinda, which is set to stream on Sony LIV. The investigative thriller marks the actor’s second web series after MX Player’s Queen, which was loosely based on J Jayalalithaa’s life.

The upcoming series, which is directed by Surya Vangala, also has Sai Kumar, Amani, Ravindra Vijay and Anand Saami. Indrajith’s brother Prithviraj Sukumaran in a recent interview confirmed that the actor had been shooting for the Telugu web series in Hyderabad and had only returned to Kochi on Wednesday.

Indrajith had previously acted in a Telugu film in 2009 when he played a supporting role in VK Prakash’s Kavya’s Diary, which also had Charmy Kaur and Manjula Ghattamaneni. While the actor's role in the web series is yet to be let out, Trisha plays a cop in the film. Incidentally, this isn’t the first time that Trisha and Indrajith are sharing screen space. The duo was also part of Jeethu Joseph’s action thriller Ram, which has Mohanlal in the lead. The movie’s shoot was stalled due to the pandemic and Indrajith had previously said that they are planning to resume the film in July in London.

Meanwhile, Indrajith has a long list of films lined up for release in Malayalam and Tamil. His upcoming movies include Vishnu Vishal’s Mohandas and Karthick Naren’s Naragasooran in Tamil, and M Padmakumar’s Pathaam Valavu, Indu VS’ Article 19 (1)(a), Rathish Ambat’s Theerppu, Shan Thulaseedharan’s Anuradha Crime No.59/2019 and Rajeev Ravi’s Thuramukham.

Pathaam Valavu, in which he will be sharing screen space with Suraj Venjaramoodu, will be his next theatrical release. The thriller, which is based on a real-life incident, has him playing a cop tracking down a convict who has violated is parole terms. The film, which also has Aditi Ravi, Swasika Vijay, Major Ravi and Ajmal Amir, is set to hit theatres in May.
