Kannada filmmaker Indrajit Lankesh, who is set to launch his son as hero with his film Gowri, has his entire filmography available on Sun NXT
Kannada filmmaker Indrajit Lankesh is preparing to launch his son Samarjit Lankesh with a home production called Gowri. Said to be a film based on true events, the film pairs Samarjit with Saanya Iyer and will be in theatres this summer. While Indrajit says that Gowri will be his best film to date, his filmography is a mixed bag of hits and misses. He is, however, credited with launching the likes of Vasundara Das, Deepika Padukone. Real Star Upendra’s transition from mass to class hero came with Indrajit’s Aishwarya, in which the former played an advertising executive. The film was the launchpad of Deepika Padukone, while Daisy Bopanna was also on the cast.
